Up one level-
Fire Circle Vibe
- It was pretty easy to get into the mindset of sacred space with lighting like this. Bear told us that when folks went into the isolation booth to record on New Way, the glass of the isolation booth reflected the fire light over their heart chakra.

Isolation Booth
- This Isolation Booth was a gift from the Universe (and Bear's previous good deeds for his landlord). Currently, we would not be able to afford a booth like this. Given that the recording was done in a rock n' roll rehersal space, there were times when it was essential to the success of the project.
-
Fire in the Heart
- Imagine one of your friends in the booth, offering their energy to the project. As our voices were recorded, the light of the fire shined thru our hearts.

Warren, imani and BrightHawk
- What a surprise! My old friend Warren showed up at the Fire Choir recording session on Sam Hain (Oct. 31st). It always amazes me how the music can bring us together in surprising and mysterious ways.

Rewriting Future
- We recorded the drum tracks for Future while Bright Hawk and Jeanette were in the studio. It was the last song that we worked on before Bright Hawk left for the airport. In our excitement, we made some mistakes in the amount of choruses and verses we recorded. So rather than scratching all the work of the previous recording sessions, the lyrics were completely rewritten. Randi and Bear helped out with this and we are all very pleased with the maturation that this song has gone thru. This song was originally written as a tribute to the inspiration that Olatunji inspired in us, and i think it would make him proud. God rest his soul, Olatunji was a man who hoped to see peace in his lifetime.

SkyBear Singing

Feet
- Studio work often means that there is a lot of time spent getting the equipment set up properly, sound checking mics, etc, etc. Can you guess how these folks were spending some of their time on this most glorious Indian Summmer Day?
