Up one levelEach Full Moon there is a prayer gathering in the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. Every month is a different experience, yet all the evenings include an opportunity to sit in meditation with a community of like minded folks. In addition to there being guest artists Allyson and Alex always offer some perspectives about art, poetry, having fun, or discussions of deep spiritual practice. Kirtan and Spoken Word, music to soothe the soul and expand the heart and an opportunity to meet new friends, these are the types of experiences you can expect at a Full Moon Prayer Gthering at CoSM. Once the prayer gathering ends (between 9 & 10pm) we go next door to the dance studio and where we drum, dance, chant and make art together. This time is collaborative in nature. While Mz. imani holds space for the myriad of percussive expressions, spoken word and chanting to have a space to define and develop itself, all are welcome to share or lead the circle. The Full Moon Drum and Dance is a place where we celebrate our lives and generate energy for healing. One of the stated intentions of CoSM is to offer our energy to help the heart of humanity awaken. Each time we gather, there is more energy generated that we can dedicate to life. This circle is vibrant and alive and we welcome you to participate.
